Can a car insurance company to raise rates a speeding ticket is not on my record?
What happend was, got a ticket for speeding (5 years) and I panicked and went to my insurance agent. He said that while his cleaned before the company again controls that should be fine. So I am contesting the ticket. Now I learned that my interest rates have risen due to the ticket, but is not in my file yet. I went to the licensing department and has a record of 3 years of driving and cleaning. My agent is authorized to raise my premiums like this?
