Proven marketing of cars and home insurance agents?

I want to open my own small agency doing life, auto, home, Business, Health, and many more types of insurance, but I know it will be hard at first in terms of customers … I'm trying to see what I can do marketing terms become known and build trust between individuals or the community so I can run a successful business … Want to hear how people if any of you, pioneered and developed a marketing really worked .. I would appreciate all comments to be published …. thanks

Congratulations on his decision to open an agency. It is difficult to start an agency because there are many insurance agents out there. I recommend doing something passive and active marketing. It's a good idea to go out in the community and meet people. What helped me when I was meeting with friends, family and business associates of age and asked about their insurance needs. Some bought them from me, some did not. But most of my friends, relatives and business associates helped introduce people who could help me. The key success in this business, at least from the beginning, is against many people as possible. Never heard of an insurance agency of the opening of its offices and loads of customers coming into the street. The key to marketing your agency is meeting with many people and ask if you can help with your insurance needs. I have some advertising campaigns. For me personally, I found that are generally not very good sources for new business. At least not immediately. Occasionally I will have someone calls me because he has a postcard from me or they saw my ad in a magazine. But what I've found that advertising is usually just keep my agency in their mind when they change. Almost never asks a potential customer immediately give me a phone call to talk about insurance. However, I found that (advertising passive marketing) complements very well my agency. I've been an agent for almost 2 years and I've been finding when I appear in public, more people have heard my name before.
