Can someone use a post office to apply for auto insurance?
Can someone use a post office to apply for insurance car? I live in New Orleans, and insurance for new and used vehicles is very expensive. I have a clean record, and am applying for the insurance of a vehicle not sports (Honda Accord or Civic sedan). I wonder if I can get a post in another parish (county) where the insurance is significantly cheaper. This way I can apply with the same address in place of my residence. Thanks for your help!
You can always have a post office box mailing address, for some people is easier, however, the insurance company always asks the address where you live and the policy rate from that direction. Insurance not be evaluated to address a PO Box. Oh, and if you give a valid source and have a loss, the insurance company will investigate (there are programs that the insurance companies have access to all those who pull the addresses known by name and license number and remove all others in the same direction), find out they lied and denied his claim. Especially Progressive. Definitely I will. I know they do it twice in the last 2 years in people who are not (one was a client before and we just quoted with the progress that both lied about the location of the parking of vehicles), who denied the allegations and reversed the policy of material misstatements. If you fail to pay insurance on the car of your property, sell, have an older car you pay cash for takeoff and to achieve broad coverage and the collision – which is usually the most expensive part of politics.
