auto insurance reviews geico
Auto Insurance unfairly assigned point.?
After reviewing my auto insurance for last year (when renewing it) I realized that my premium had increased from one of the following 6 months. After calling the company told me that I had been assigned one point for what they are calling a accident. The accident call to which they relate is about 8 months ago I had a tire blow out (days after reaching them) either something in the road or a curb cut. Since I had just bought my tires was a little worried, so I called my insurance company to see if the tires were deflated covered under my policy. In response to my question because I remembered he had a deductible of $ 500 and they did so with enthusiasm the decision to replace only the rim and I did not do anything to make a claim. The company (GEICO BTW) decided that this is considered an accident and gave me a point in my insurance (for three years) and thus increase my rates. Does anyone know if this is legal and what can I do to correct this controversy and sitution?
ANY TIME an incident report to his company insurance are required by law to open a claim. If they pay or not is not the point. (The law is thus B / C someone, sometime in the foot somehow and this is the result of that.) At the same time, are obliged to investigate the loss no matter how large or small, is before assigning blame. But the tires blown are usually a claim unless a draft exploded due to collision (such as hitting a curb) or the explosion and you hit something else (like a wall). You should call Geico and knowledge claims his theory of liability and whether the change in your system, you should request a letter of experience. Although it is changed in system is still displayed in the report ou track of guilt and the letter of the experience is all you have to prove that was not their fault.
