The industry of car insurance is waiting an increase in the number of climate-related risks following claims of country-wide storms and severe winds. The weather is dangerous simply posing problems to all road users and the SAF experts have issued warnings to all vehicle owners.
The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is a charity which urges all road users to act more responsibly and safely and campaigns to improve driving skills. The organization said that the highways are very dangerous during high winds. Britain has currently been experiencing winds of 75 mph.
IAM chief examiner Peter Rodger, said: "Strong side winds, rain and potential flooding may challenge the drivers, even with experience." He also advised customers to curb auto insurance when driving in high winds, as the higher speeds that the vehicles more vulnerable to side winds.
