I have a car that recently gave my sister for the time. Its still in my name, but I will not be driving at any time in the foreseeable future. My car insurance runs out on August 10. My sister is get insurance on the car before you start driving, even though the car will remain under my name. Do you need insurance after 10 August, although not will be driving the car more? My girlfriend and I now share a car that is insured under his name and has his name in the title. My name is not in the title or the documents supporting the vehicle is insured. I obviously have their "permission" to drive this car at any time. I am 28 years old and my girlfriend is 25. Do I need insurance for my name to this car? Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance:)

First off, the insurance companies are concerned that having custody / control / custody of a vehicle.
