Do I need a California driver's license to register a new car. I have a Guam driver's license and insurance.
The car you bought is form a private concessionaire. I do not think it would affect much, but I have to get the car registered, along with getting the new plates. I'm assuming you do not need a license California drivers to do this. Does anyone know? Guam is a U.S. territory, after all.
If you live in California now then you need a California driver's license and own vehicle. If you plan to take the vehicle back to Guam, then drive back within 30 days and register there.
