How can I find a lawyer in my state or county that has a license in another state or county?
Basically, my family's car was beaten Tennessee (do not know exactly where), but live in Illinois. They want to call a laywer, just to make sure the insurance company is not rigid, or whatever. So this is a difficult matter. How can I find a lawyer in which they live, which also has a license in Tennessee? I have tried this with a lawyer here, but he says TN laws are different, and has to be there. I think I could go through the phone book and call everyone in the city and areas surrounding, but that would take too long. Is there an easier way, perhaps online references? I searched, but can not find anything about it. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
You need a lawyer in Tennessee. No matter where else are licensed, or if allowed at all in any other place, but must be licensed in Tennessee.
