What happens if I get in a car accident if I have my insurance policy from another state?

I live in Oklahoma and now live in Arkansas. I just noticed that I have not changed my policy to reflect my Arkansas address. My insurance policy is cheaper in Oklahoma. If you "forget" to change what happen if I have an accident?

I agree. It applies the law of Arkansas. You must report the change of address and get a new agent in your new location. If you have moved in the last 30 days is fine, if it is not. You are doing a big no-no with the insurer. Under its policy, you are required to be truthful. Failure to report the new address is bogus because it is trying to pay less. You will be charged starting the difference when she moved. Do it as soon as possible that the company will not have a smiley face frowney. Tell the agent who simply forgot. If you have had an accident, you're in a lot of problems that the company can or can not forgive.
