What should I get car insurance?

I'm about to purchase a 1997 Volvo 850R sedan an individual. I'm in Indiana. I've never had my car insurance own, always be in my mom's plan, while in high school and college. Now that I've set my own plan, I received quotes from Progressive, Esurance, nationally, and some others, and everything looks and sounds a lot like me. My mom gave me advice on what kind of plan to get, but I wonder, is there a good or specific insurance company for someone like me? A male under 25 with a clean driving record and no tickets or violations? Does anyone have some good tips or horror stories about any company's specific car insurance? What has worked best with you and your plan? I would get the insurance lined up for Tuesday or Wednesday, so any advice on where and how it would be much appreciated.

A point to note: their rates based on what group is divided. Single men under age 25 pay the highest premiums because the group is most at risk. Keep your driving record clean no tickets or violations – that will keep your premiums constant. Go to a reputable company (Allstate, State Farm, Geico, etc) and avoid the "Billy Bob Insurance and lawn care "business, even if rates are lower. You get what you pay. Unfortunately you are in a group of high premium, so important to maintain a clean driving record. If you start getting tickets and accidents have their rates go through the roof, bearing in mind that they can get insurance at all. And when you turn 26, call your insurance company and its rates have been recalculated.
