health care insurance monopoly

NOTE: The information in the numbered points in bold below is from the literature of the Republican Party handed in an act of health care in Nashville August 13, 2009; the information after each numbered item is a response to the false propaganda unreported figure in the Republican Party, adopted brochure.

1. We need to reform health care. It costs a lot.

Bush Republicans did nothing to reform the industry of healthcare. No There are historical antecedents of Republicans reforming health care. Therefore, the current proposals reek of political and party charades complete and total dishonesty.

2. Health insurance, make portable so that Americans can keep their coverage when they change jobs.

This does nothing to drastically reduce the rising costs of health care, eliminate high deductibles and copayments, to help existing conditions uninsured or people with pre-or prevent insurers from refusing to cover the sickest among us. And this was not proposed by the Republicans before the 2008 campaign.

3. The tax credits for health care more affordable and accessible.

In addition to solving any of the things mentioned above, this was first proposed by John McCain, while the presidency. Before that, there is no record of credit proposals Republican taxes. By contrast, Republicans in Congress under Bush pushed to reduce federal funding, including the opposition to help uninsured children doctor.

4. President Obama and the Democrats are conducting a dangerous experiment 1.6 trillion dollars to our health.

When cost savings are taken into account, the actual cost would be about $ 100 million per year. This is less than 1/30th of the estimated cost for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Apparently the Republicans think they pretend to protect us from harm in foreign lands is more important than protecting Americans against disease contagious and death from lack of medical care at home. tax cuts for the rich Bush alone cover this cost, and provide a home for all veterans also homeless. annual loss in national productivity due to the spread of common communicable diseases easily preventable if everyone had access to health care, Americans cost more than the proposed reforms.

5. Raising taxes by $ 800 million, mainly in small businesses.

President Obama has proposed raising taxes on personal net income over 250K to help pay reform of health care. Republican opposition is a continuation of the current "Joe the Plumber" never lie properly dissected by the media, almost no plumbers or owners of small independently owned businesses earning over 250K annually after deductions. In addition, companies that employ fewer than 50 persons are not obliged to pay for health care under the proposed reforms.

6. Create a national set of a one size fits all regulations, making health care more expensive for everyone.

This is not at all what Obama and the Democrats are proposing, but even if it were, it would serve to significantly reduce the cost for everyone, whether the industry of health care was forced to tender the U.S. base against the entire population.

7. To impose new rules for existing plans that make your employer drop your plan or make your company current insurance plan to stop offering.

Proposed regulations actually having the opposite effect than was intended in the Republican propaganda. They include demands employers to insure employees or pay a fine to offset the costs of a government option. The new regulations require insurers to accept all people regardless of preexisting conditions and force them to drop those patients who are deemed "too expensive" for profit margins.

8. Create a government run insurance option to unfairly drive out competitors to become a monopoly.

Since deregulation began with Ronald Reagan, the largest insurance companies have essentially become a monopoly, unjust expulsion of competitors smaller and insurance companies that tried to provide honest coverage. Mainly with the support of Republicans, deregulation of the rules, eliminated once prevented the industry refuse to pay for expensive treatments and protected the poor and elderly patients to be literally dumped on the backs of ambulances in Skid Row, as the famous videotape and shown on national television.

It is true that the Democrats are clearly wrong in health care, giving to pressure from companies and pretend that we can expect to survive as a modern nation, leaving profits of the insurance industry on how to achieve affordable quality health care for all of us. The story again and again shown that it is a complete and total lie. But. . . Who is really, really, actually lying about health care? You decide.
