my father was diagnosed with cancer who have gone to the gold card to try to get help with paying their chemotherapy, but we have not had any luck i was wondering, does anyone from an insurance company out there that will cover someone with a pre-existing condition.
You have to look at insurance companies and their exact pre existing clause. The best advice is to check PPO and HMO does. You will pay more for treatment doctors, but you will have much more freedom than an HMO. United Health Care and Blue Cross Blue Shield are OPP. Some patients have medical histories of cancer a TIM much more difficult to get coverage if you are buying insurance on their own rather than through their employment.
