health insurance humor

Karl Rove and Howard Dean brought the national debate on the health of Penn State Tuesday night.
There was little agreement, but much of the abuse, during the event who were in the humorous tone of heating.
"That is a statistical composite, Karl Rove. … For the first time tonight, I'm calling on him, "Said Dean, a medical doctor and former Democratic National Committee chairman." You did that. "
Rove had said that Medicare rejects claims twice as often as the industry's overall health insurance, and he pledged to put the evidence in his column in the Wall Street Journal the week next. "And I would appreciate it if you do not question my integrity. .. Mr. Dean, you just called me a liar and I do not like it," said Rove, former deputy Staff and adviser to George W. Bush and Fox News contributor. Later, Rove called Dean "teen" after the former Democratic National Committee Chairman interrupted one of his answers.
The exchange was part of a discussion in front of more than 2,000 people in Eisenhower Auditorium. The two participated in an event similar at DePauw University in September.
Event on Tuesday night was the student of distinguished speakers series program of the Association. All but a matter of dealing directly with health care, currently being debated in Congress.
Dean defended the public choice, sponsored government insurance plan, saying it provided an opportunity for citizens safer.
"We have a choice (now) that is between a company abusive insurance, other insurance company and third largest predatory safe from predators, "said Dean." Give us the same choice that people over 65 years, give us the same choice that our brave soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, give us the same choice that the United States Congress. We are given that option. "
Rove replied: "Each of these programs is subsidized by everyone else. … So we will double for all, unless we run out of money. … Someone has to pay the bills. "
Rove said the industry's health care needs not scale review. In Instead, the proposed medical liability reform and allowing people to buy health insurance across state lines, allowing people to take their attention health with them when they change jobs, allowing small businesses, by the pool.
Earlier in the debate, Rove said 17 million of 47 million Uninsured Americans earning more than $ 50,000 a year.
"With all due respect, I do not want to collect the insurance costs of health Bill Gates" Rove said. "These are people who should be able to find a way to lift their own."
Dean said the workers $ 50,000 end up spending $ 13,000 in health insurance in the current system. "Only a Republican like this kind of thing," he said.
During the discussion, audience members mingled applause and cheers from the two speakers.
However, Rove received boos and hisses from the audience on three occasions. When he complained the attention of the U.S. health system was the best in the world, announced the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 as an example of bipartisanship, and criticized by people saying George W. Bush was not legitimately elected president. "
At one point, in rapid succession, a viewer shouted "war criminal" and another cursed Rove.
"These people should be in Michigan," said Rove.
Reference to compete with Penn State football Rove has won some laughs. "Or maybe Ohio State …." He added.
