What is the cost of health insurance per year?
Yes, this is a political issue! So what is the cost? I'm asking what it costs, I'm wondering how much money you pay in total for the insurance company to cover you and your family. What you pay and what that your employer pays combined. Any idea? Are there other things I buy you have no idea what the cost is? Do you think the fact that people are so isolated actual costs of health services makes the market distortions that lead to high prices and costs? Do you think consumers based, rather than government based solutions, such as medical savings accounts and a more realistic treatment of the employer tax benefits acquired (such as treatment of taxable income and giving people a tax deduction for compensation or profit) would be a better solution to the current concerns of the people? I know exactly what it is mine, since I pay, and much … but I prefer to pay much more than the government running my health.
