home insurance claims advice
I have an older mobile home (87) that has water damage. An adjuster is calling clains Mon What will happen?

I damage Water in my house. I called and reported the claim, my insurance company is out of town so you have to have an adjuster call me on Monday. Im not sure what will happen. Im worried that they write a check below the amount because it is a mobile home. The thing about it is all in a mobile home is different from a normal (well, at least in the former). Simply replacing the floor and is now ruined. My small bathroom is completely damaged, but was not in great condition to begin with. How does this work? Im about to give up on this place. We bought it in '99 and it cost more to repair than it is worth. Any advice on what to do?

The adjuster will come to inspect the damage. You can write the estimate, or you can take notes and write the estimate in the office. What you are paid depends on your policy. In my business – mobile home policies are the actual cash value policies. This means that the adjuster writes the estimate of damage and remaining for disapproval. So you as a homeowner to pay the deductible and obsolescence. If you have the papers to when replacing the floor-it 's ok to show that the adjustment device. What ever happens, the regulator should explain the process for you. We write an estimate broken down room by room and item by item. This will display the replacement cost and any disapproval taken. If you have questions when you get the estimate – call fitter – he / she will be able to explain it to you.
