How does a pit bull owner home insurance?

I live in Toledo, OH. My husband and I had thought about renting a room in our house (which has a private bathroom and entrance) to a good friend of ours. However, recently acquired a pit bull (who was she and her ex-boyfriend, if she did not take him, went to the SPCA). Now, I know there are many problems to ensure pit bulls. We have a German Shepherd / American Eskimo mix, and the dogs get along very well. The pit bull is a very sweet dog, but the race has such a bad reputation. If we take her and her dog as a tenant, that the pit bull should be added to our home insurance owner? Or he could get a renter's insurance and get cover? What is the additional cost of ensuring a pit bull?

It depends on your company insurance. Since she's renting a room in your house and not a separate apartment, unit type, would probably have to add the hole to its policy, but which will make its fees and such depend on your company. I have insurance with State Farm, and in the state where I live, not / can not ask what breed of dog property, only the number and if they have ever bitten anyone. If that is the case with your company, you can not see a rate increase at all, unless they increase the number of dogs. Call and ask, in general, what is your policy on its location in Pit Bulls. You do not even need to identify yourself if you're worried hiking their fees they ask about pit bulls. If your company applies to race and wants to raise rates or leave your coverage, you can call and ask for new quotes insurance from other companies. Tell your current employer that they are doing and leave them if they increase their rates, it is possible that the rate drops mysteriously continued business.
