Redmond cost of living (rent, food, cars, utilities, etc.) in the year 2009?
I am Relocating to Redmond is the cost WA.What average life in Redmond (rent, food, car, utilities etc)? I will move to Redmond in 4 months time. My employer has offered 68K annual salary, with health insurance for the family. I will be moving with my wife and one child Please guide me what would be my average expenditure per month in Redmond for style average life, if I'm starting a new life. 1) Rental Apartment (1 bedroom 1 bathroom) 2) food (if all cooked at home) and grocery stores 3) invoices utilities (electricity, water, gas) 4) If I buy a car on credit, motor insurance. 5) Any other significant expenses .. After how much such expenses can I save? Btw i dont have any idea how much taxes would be deducted from my salary? Say if my salary is 5 km per month, the amount of taxes deducted if I am married and my wife does not work. Is 68K a month in Redmond, a good salary considering the cost of living.?
