I can walk away from an agreement to purchase real property before closing?

I am buying a new home in the area of North Carolina. I had the builder installation of $ 13,000 in improvements. But I do not buy now because … 1. the building inspection revealed hairline cracks in the foundation (three more have appeared since the report was made 30 days. 2. raised my mortgage lender mortgage insurance by $ 40 per month and not disclosed until I found out at closing table. then faxed a new good faith estimate of closing for me to sign. 3. I walked away from the closing table and not sign anything. I do not want the house. 4. the costs 237,000 house and gave him the sign of $ 3,000. Can I get away from this deal? please help

I depend upon the terms and conditions of the contract you signed and NC law applicable. You shold contact a lawyer.
