Why would someone take pictures of my house without asking?
Today there is a man in a green car parked outside my house taking pictures and walked with a clipboard. He never called or anything. We did go to the house 2 weeks ago and a new insurance and all, but again, why would anyone be taking pictures and notes on our home with our consent?
There are a few reasons. Did you just purchase your home? If so, a lot of other real estate agents can take some pictures to side to market compositions. The people could take pictures for tax purposes and evaluations. Your insurance company also might have sent someone. Next time, ask the person taking the photos. Tuck your cell phone in his pocket just in case. Write your plates, if removed to the police.
