Driving without insurance in the UK?
I just wanted to explain something and ask a question about auto insurance. I go to uni. away from home. my father I had bought a car at the end of last summer. I have never used I leave at home when I go to uni and I'm back just for the holidays .. This Christmas was the first time driving it .. As far as I knew my dad had put my name under his policy and I was fully insured im assuming .. unfortuantly my parents go through a divorce and I have no communication with my dad as he does not live with us. This is my crime .. IM not knowing is not insured … I've never been in truble with the police. I study a course thats very sensitve to criminal records … What do you think the result would be? i am really worried. What I do?
call the insurance company and have them verify if you are covered – if not, stop driving or get your own insurance
