Should a builder / insurance company replace the entire sheet of plaster, to restore a house that has been flood?

Our house is not flooded long ago and our insurance is being difficult. If the plaster has been damaged, so are there any regulations state that the road all must be replaced? This is for QLD. They are also there and the regulations say Mut Heet be replaced if they have had water through them or Mut viible existence of damage. Also in the If so, septic etc. can tell me where to find it? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

In my previous life I refurbished for the life of 20 years .. local building codes and insurance policy control the issue. Your county Building and Safety Department can answer this question with a phone call. In practice, the repair of damages means only that, but factors including cosmetics. Basically, the area (s) must be returned to its original state. That means how it looks and quality of the underlying structure. I mean I do not plaster, but plasterboard. Either So if they cut the damaged parts and leave the good, fine. You did not find any requirement that an entire sheet should be replaced if only part of it is corrupt.
