Curb appeal is the most important thing you can improve to increase your chances of selling your home, especially in a market more difficult. The first thing to do to enhance curb appeal is the most difficult that is to become an objective observer. You have lived in your home for many years, through good times and bad times. Now we need to stop looking at his house as a home, but as a commodity. Buyers are looking for a lot houses right now and they have an emotional connection with any of them. You must enter a buyer psychology. Ask yourself these questions:

Look at your house. What is your first impression? What is the first thing your eyes see? Better yet, ask a friend to do this. Does anyone walking their dog past from home, as it is doing this exercise? Ask them!

Imagine you are thinking of buying this house. What, ideally, would to ask the seller to fix or improve first just looking on the outside? If you had an unlimited budget, what you do outside gardening? Now think about how to improve the good and minimize the bad things without spending much money.

Cleanliness is the most important issue that affects curb appeal. Sure that the exterior of the house is as clean as possible. If the exterior is in poor cosmetic condition, a new paint job is ideal and can usually do for itself in increased fairness and speed of sale. Short of that, cleaning the exterior is the next best thing.

Landscaping is next on the list. No need to go overboard with the gardens but some simple things to convey to buyers that the current owner really cares about the house and has kept in good condition. Below I've included checklists, home improvement and gardening to curb appeal.

Beyond these issues, some other things that make a big difference to replace the front door with one that is more attractive and make sure the yard is also looks good, especially if any of that is visible from the car.
