How can I protect myself before buying a home?

Burst pipes in the house you want to buy. I am concerned about the mold and putrefaction. My agent is a joke. The seller is also an actor and of course, has not revealed anything as the house looks great. I learned through research additional. The home inspector does not cover mold. I was told that "mold inspectors" are trustworthy and just take a small sample of air from a wall. The home warranty does not cover mold. Homeowner's insurance does not cover existing mildew before purchase. Any ideas for a certificate of good health in this house and put my mind at ease? The agent said nothing should be disclosed if it is fixed properly. Is it true? I guess I should add that there is no visible mold. I am concerned covered problems.

Make a home inspection done, an inspector can detect a pipe bursted and mold problems .. and then ask for a reduction in the price of the house to solve the problem, or fix themselves before close of escrow, where real estate contract. If they will not fix or give you credit on the cost, then do not buy the house, unless you're willing to pay the bill yourself. You are not obligated to buy the house .. If it were me, probably into the house of the possible next .. It's a buyer's market right now .. I'm sure you can find a better home. I know what you are working with a joke of an agent when I sold my house last year, unfortunately, I made a horrible list with an agent, referred me unsavvy. Best of luck.
