home insurance?
My home builder new insurance quoted me $ 420/annually. My agent friend quoted $ 560 (if I change my car too), but also told me that the manufacturer was not included replacement coverage. The written estimate of the construction company said the replacement coverage in a header of bed. I do not know who to go with. How to decide?
Is the builder licensed to sell insurance? If not, is the same as if you quote for surgery open heart. You decide, to go line by line down the coverage, to compare all coverages. There are two different replacement costs – one in the content, one under construction. What policy has what? What about deductibles? What about the ordinance or law coverage? How about backup of sewers and drains? How about a personal articles floater? All the coverage of foundation under either policy? What's policy limits, guarantees on the cost of replacement, and co-insurance clause? You're making a big mistake – you're talking to an agent. You're getting quotes from second hand from a builder, and a friend. It's not like buying a pair of socks – you need to spend the time to speak with an agent to find out what is actually needed, and what exactly it is reserved covered.
