Do you have homeowners insurance in Michigan covers loss or theft of the jewels?
My ex-boyfriend had stolen her engagement ring boyfriend and wedding band. My mother told me that she thought the home owner's insurance would cover it. Has anyone else heard of this, or whether it was true?
in a matter of policy HO3 homeowners would be covered for theft, but only up to a limit. (most states $ 1000-1500) if it was worth more or if you just lost, should be scheduled in the policy for coverage. so if it was stolen, would have to call the police and file a report for proof of ownership. every time they have their best jewels of great value to program in their domestic policy so you're covered, no matter what until full asset.
