Loss of engagment ring?
I lost my diamond ring engagment on a public beach, the other day and people are saying that if I file a claim for homeowners insurance with me then it will be canceled? Is this true? I dare not call because we need our insurance, however, this ring was very sentimental and worth much money. The ring is my policy and has been since 2005 when we bought our house. I have read the policy I had in my file, and says its aim is simply not what for. loss, theft, etc. .. Should we file a claim for it?
Unless you are insured separately in politics, "Oops I Lost It" is not covered. Therefore not be canceled. But even if you are insured separately, the sentimental value not covered. The most you'll get for it, is the listed value of the crown. If listed, then in most policies, "Oops I lost at the beach is covered.
