The average time before a vehicle is ready for sale at IAAI (Insurance Auto Auctions Inc.)?
I've been waiting for this truck to be FOREVER offered for sale. I know IAAI must get the title insurance company before they can put the car on sale, but its been like 3 months. Trucks that are completely destroyed that occur after the first sale of trucks, but this truck has not been damaged, so do not know why its taking forever. Companys I know it takes forever to make sure the paperwork, but 3 months!? if you know the average time for vehicles or IAAI Auto Auction other rescue it would be great. Until then the wait continues
There can be many reasons for the delay. If returns on the truck is more than the insurance settlement, the vehicle owner will have to come up with the difference before the lienholder to release the title. There may be a claim at issue. There may be other problems with the vehicle as stolen and altered VIN, and may be a delay in getting the fix. Without knowing the history vehicle, there is no way to be sure. What happens is that insurance companies IAAI towed vehicles (or other) to avoid paying storage in the towing companies. Insurance companies have special treatment, where the sale of the company are not charged for storage. Sometimes the insurance company, just selling the vehicle to the owner, if a total loss. In that case, the vehicle never reach the auction block. It is also possible that an employee of IAAI want to buy the vehicle, and can be slipped into a sale in the last minute to try to keep the bid below. Some places
