insurance company broker dealers

Can anyone recommend an independent broker / dealers that good products that are safety licenses, and the sale?
I a candidate for the CPP and want to be independent of any particular insurance companies or supply houses. Can anyone recommend intermediary independent / distributors?
There are a number of them out there (I work for myself), but it would be an independent contractor with little or no financial support. Our representatives get paid a percentage of their income to handle things like compliance, monitoring committees, paperwork, processing of E & Or building coverage, etc. Our representatives rarely handle accounts with less than a million dollars, however. very few riders can go alone them without creating a substantial customer base first. Your best bet would probably find a real success in a small broker / dealer, going to work for him (that would be your OSJ and get a% of your income), then when your customer base is solid, it can become a satellite office, and finally OSJ his own. Our company requires a minimum of $ 250,000 a year in commissions (not counting fees for financial planning, whether at our offices or our minimum), so we're not talking small customers. There are many companies out with less stringent requirements, so you might check around with other brokers and trade magaizines to see that companies are looking for what type of intermediaries. And no, I'm naming the companies (including mine) because it would be a no-no. Good luck in your chosen field.
