How can I get my insurance company pay the retail value on my car?
My car was stolen on Aug. 5, I made the claim my ins. company. The vehicle was recovered and on 15 August in a neighborhood not so great. took the engine, tranny and say that all that remains below the chapel was the fan and the radiator reserve tank. my stereo (Alpine in-dash navigation) wheels, headlights with HID bulbs and other things missing. Now I'm here almost a month later and car payment is due im haggling with my insurance company for paying retail. who had some business Valuscope CCC to do market research, this report is fucked not only seeking up to 149 miles away form me but not look at my specific model. This shows up a lot of base models. I had a 2002 Cadillac DHS, my car compared to the base Deville model. the standard equipment is very different between the two. I just want to retail my car! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP
wellllll …. the short and not-so-sweet part is that you will not get "smaller" for your car. Only claims the market value. My recommendation: Do your own research and provide their own documentation. Check your report to ensure you have all your options. Provide proof if any. A super stereo will not make your car worth more money. Nor tinted windows, a paint job fantasy, sub-woofer in the trunk, special shocks or anything like that. New tires will make some difference. Clean Vehicle History and service records will make some difference. Please use the same make / model of information has to be at least 1 year better and we need to use your make / model. This should not be hard. It may be hard to find in your area, but the time to be representative vehicles … that is what is supposed to have. soooo … good luck to you. Oh – and make sure you've been in touch with your leinholder so they know that will total your vehicle.
