insurance company donations
is rude to ask for donations in hard times?

I belong to a third club profit, and we rely on donations each year to help reduce registration, shirts, and insurance, as well as offerring a youth team, trained and run free. We strongly believe in our community and local sponsors, and are considering branching big sponsors like oil drillers because we need some major improvements and a building as soon as possible. Is it rude to ask companies for money in difficult times like now? We do not want to look bad in the coming years, and never have dealt with big business before. Any information helps!

It is not rude. In good times or bad, it's rude not "ask" for donations to a nonprofit organization. Not even online "cyberbegging" sites (which can cost money, though!), And if you want to try apply there in the search term and research it. People "cyberbeg" for all types of cases, even to themselves. Oh … and it is legal! Having a short day.
