insurance company filings
Is anyone aware of the news for PZZA idea, Johns father?

Doing research on them and see that its shares have declined radically in the last year and have a lot of privileged information, 20% of the shares of insiders have sold in the last year. Also I see that the sales transactions in the UK and are reducing suppose? They also seem to go around to and manage their insurance costs as before later changed selfinsure to a real insurance company and then switched to accounting. The general population seems to have only a heap of trouble. As I said Im just doing research on she would love some indication of what to look for in the documents or opinions in general.

One thing I think is important is what they earn and their potential to keep winning it. Last year (Feb 07) had one billion in sales (something like nearly 3 percent increase over the previous year) and something and $ 1.47 EPS. In August its earnings target was about 38 cents, but gained 40 cents. Part of the problem was that the "consensus" armchair quarterbacks the market thinks the second quarter earnings should have been something like $ 263 million, but only $ 256 million (How dare ?!?). My guestimate is that some are thinking that things like consumer confidence in general ostensibly lower, high fuel prices (customers and delivery), and a then looming recession discretionary spending on pizzas will be the punishment of future income. On the other hand, PZZI not nearly as successful (and tasty, I prefer Papa John's) was punished badly this summer, but has recovered somewhat steadily since then. It is this persistent that profitability was hard to ignore the time. Please note that for Papa Johns, a company much better (and products). But then, if YUM (Pizza Hut that, as I recall) may rise despite the economic gloom, which would be cheaper if Papa Johns has a number instead, but forecasters are embarrassed again. Good luck, you can do worse than Papa Johns.
