insurance company franchise

Do companies to keep ex-employees of the Social Security # on file?
I used to work in 1 restaurant into a franchise. I wonder if I can ask a 2nd restaurant on the same franchise, they will realize that I have worked there? (It seems that every time they apply with references to age, shot to hell. unjustly too. So I wonder if I can apply tabula rasa when they will realize that not told the whole truth?)
The best thing you can do with something like this is just telling the truth. The number one reason that companies will get rid of workers is the lack of honesty. If you are dishonest with the fact that you have worked there before, then, sadly, that's why you get "pull ah * ll". So my best suggestion is to tell the truth you've worked there before the franchise. Most companies have to keep the information in your files up to 7 years after employment, as this is practically Privacy Act says. They need to maintain long incase there are people who choose to take them to court or whatever for actions that employees have caused, and for other things. Hope this helps.
