What to do with a garage unstable?
I was my carport roof and while the whole structure began to change and give way. The garage always supported on one side and is very insecure and potentially could fall at any time. Should I wait until Monday and the risk of the safety of my children and / or other and call the insurance company at that time or I can bring it down now to help prevent then call? Maybe taking pictures of the situation present before hand? Any help would be great. Thanks
If I had a garage in that capacity, I think I get stronger with some friends, give them a little 2×4 to push and push harder. Soon. I think if you were down to basically on your own, you probably beyond recovery and we need a new garage. I doubt if the insurance will pay. This was not an accident, it was an accident waiting to happen. Insurance does not usually pay for things getting old and wear. I hope that there was gone too far with the roofing job.
