Without health insurance … Need a medical examination and drug test … Where can I go?
I'm in the process of getting all my papers together for an E-2 visa in South Korea so I can go abroad and teach English. To get the visa I need to get a statement from a doctor says I'm in good physical and not a drug user. I exercise 3-5 times a week and no drug use. I do not have a primary care physician because they have no insurance doctor. I need to know where I can go to do this than going to cost me a lot of $ $. Could an urgent care to give me a physical and / or a drug test? I am located in Raleigh, North Carolina. So if someone in the area (or elsewhere) has known from somewhere I'd like to hear your suggestions!
Call your local hospital and ask if you can help with the care free as you do not have insurance, some hospitals have plans for those who are poor and needy. Good luck, I'm lucky – I cut my health insurance recently and I know what you're going, but I am a veteran and can go to the VA hospital in a critical situation …
