What disability programs / insurance I get in it?

I am 20 and I have Crohn's disease. I was also diagnosed with it long ago. Shown as a disability condition. In the coming years, I will be the downfall of my parents' insurance. However, I used to be outside the university, or doing enough to cover my medicines. Without insurance it would cost about 1,000 a month for my three perscriptions. I wondered what kind of disability benefits or programs I could find. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, while I was a kid. I know I can not get social security, because that used to give a disability part. I really do not want to go as a disability under otherwise go to college is a bit useless. I just want to get some help paying for my medicine, specialist on visits and procedures delicious I have to endure every year. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a colleague who had Crohn's disease and I was in the same situation. He was an insurance agent, contracts, so no benefits. I know the stigma they suck, but call Social Security and apply for Medicaid. I know, I know, but I did and qualified. He is in school now and still in Medicaid. When he graduates and gets a good job with benefits, then Medicaid is received. Hope this helps, good luck.
