If I was approved for pregnant Medicaid insurance have 2 take over my job when I offered it to end?
I live in PA and work a job through a temporary employment agency is preparing to hire me on your payroll permanently. I was already accepted for pregnant Medicaid and want to stay there rather than take their insurance. Can I stay on Medicaid or do I have to take your insurance? HIPAA says that if I were offered group insurance, the INS. co. no my pregnancy can be classified as pre-existing and have to cover, so I'm not worried about pregnancy are not covered. Besides, I already know there isn't a waiting period for maternity coverage or, as the general term of 12 months. It is immediate. The thing I do not know if I really like this work or how long I will stay here, so I prefer to simply stay on Medicaid. Anyone know?
Fashion Guess I'm old, but I totally agree with JustAChick's response. I do not care what your "situation" that is, you have a job, you have a pretty good job as insurance benefits and believe they want the rest of us to since you do not know if you like this job??? Hey, in the real world, where I live, a person does what it must support themselves and their families. That could mean working a job that does not like, but better than mooching off the system! There is real pride in knowing you made yourself through contact times, I know, I did. We hope you will soon get off the free ride and learn to support yourself and your baby!
