insurance gym membership
Why do not insurance companies cover or help cover gym memberships?

I really like to join the gym in my area, especially because they have a swimming pool and I used competitvely, and I also would like to return to form. (Work at home, but this place offers small classes for kickboxing, etc, and I want something new) Also, my daughter takes swimming lessons and we do not get a discount on them. However, for most members of the fitness and health centers is quite high. We are on a tight budget at home too. It made me think about how, if insurance companies would help to cover the cost of these places, people, even more will join, and in turn better health, which in turn would help keep insurance costs. Anyone else who this is a good idea? Or do you know insurance companies do this? I BlueCross, which is pretty good, but I've never heard of companies insurance to help with this. What do you think? some do, the offer of a refund … just ask and the company will send a form you must fill. I know my insurance company gives you back $ 300 it helps.
