Black market Apple Genius needed …?
Hello from London to the world, I hope all well and thanks for sparing a few moments. Here is the thing. My old MacBook Pro (2.16 GHz, etc), recently was injured because the poor boy fell off a table. The result? – Quite seriously (but useful) broken screen. Luckily for me, home insurance to cough up a brand spanking new (2.4GHz, 200GB, etc.) MBP, so I'm sorted. However, I have a partner who does not have a computer but is in need of a deep, but has not got the money. Suggested I take my old MBP and buying (and somehow somewhere) a party (complete) and unscrew MBP, hopefully, a display of work by a broken computer and connect to my MBP working age. My question is – Is this feasible? Viable? Feasible? He is in dire need of a machine and would love to save him a great or so … Any advice, expertise and, especially, Step by step tutorials or links to sites that provide would be incredible. Greetings from London to the world Max xxx
It is certainly very easy to replace almost any screen, you just need to know how to take apart! Here's a tutorial: If http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Mac/MacBook-Pro-15-Inch-Core-Duo/Display/85/14/ this is the right Mac, there are other guides on the site
