My Father (91) Has AARP Medicare Supplement Insurance – What percentage of expenses for Nursing Home will it cover?

Someone told me AARP supplemental covers 30% of nursing home costs. I wonder if this is correct or if it is higher or lower?

Coverage is dependent on his grandfather bought all policies are different. If only one Medicare supplement policy, coverage is not likely to cover nursing homes. The reason is that Medicare does not cover "custodial" care. The nursing home coverage is usually covered with a long-term care policy and only if it meets the requirements for "care specialized "that requires some sort of therapy or medical care given by a nurse.
