Employer changed health insurance – Information on the need!?

I live in Minnesota and have health benefits through my employer. Recently, has been changed to a new company but was not notified until this happened about 2 weeks in the new year. Does anyone know the laws on how long the employer must notify you before switching companies and health insurance plans?
