If considered criminal when insurance companies after Katrina are denied or delayed insurance claims?
We apologize daily and the resounding rejection in the Golf States. Are not we seeing the insurance companies were claiming that water damage from the wind of 110 miles per hour?
There is definitely a problem with it. There a lot of false statements about the coverage, either intentionally or negligently. A lot homeowners are suing their insurance companies, because of this, including Sen. Trent Lott (so he knows he is not uninformed). Will interesting to see what the courts say, as part of its obligation as an insured is to be familiar with the laws and their own coverage policies. There were claims pending of years after 9 / 11 as to whether it was an "act of war" which most insurance companies deny coverage. I believe all except for some small businesses end up paying these claims.
