Insurance Ratings .. B + +; American Strategic (ASI) .. Help!?
I live in Florida and am buying a new home. It's so hard to find landlord insurance. I have great speed with ASI (American Program) and are rated B + +. Does anyone know if they are good, and if that is a qualification financial position. They are also admitted to the State of Florida. I checked the ratings from AM Best, but needs more security with all the hurricanes here.
Hm mm Citizens has a little less than $ 100B in reserves and $ 500B of liabilities. If we were to rate them, I say ZZZ. You're between a rock and a hard place. Check ASI policy to see whether it is better than the citizens. If so, could have a chance, if they are admitted and then have an agreement on companies certain others to help bail them out if they filed for bankruptcy.
