Inclusive Health is the North Carolina Health Insurance Risk Pool (NCHIRP). Provides affordable coverage for individual health insurance in North Carolina have not access to an employer health plan and face higher premiums because of pre-existing medical condition.

Similar to more traditional employer sponsored and individual health plans, this plan covers a wide range of services including preventive care, outpatient services, emergency care, a benefit of prescription drugs and other health care services in common.

Plan offers several options to choose from. Choose the plan that best suits your needs individual medical and financial.

Premiums for plans vary with sex, age and whether you are a smoker or not. You have the option of Plan A, B or C.

From 1 January 2009, you will be able to get health coverage inclusive. (Actually, you can apply now so that your coverage will become effective on 1 January.) Fares are reasonable, but not all are eligible.

Coverage Waiting Period:

The plans offered by the state of North Carolina is a waiting period on coverage of preexisting conditions. The length of the waiting period is six (6) months for all policies that come into force between 1 January and 1 June 2009. Policies to take effect from 1 July 2009 will be subject to a period of 12 months of waiting.

Who can participate?

You may qualify for state coverage if:
(a) is a North Carolina resident and a legal resident of the United States;

(b) have no access to group coverage as an employee or dependent of an employee;

(c) do not qualify for any government program such as Medicare, Medicaid or SCHIP, a fulfilling one of the following

* Have you been rejected or refused by an insurer with similar coverage for medical reasons

* They have offered coverage by an insurer with a conditional clause that limits coverage

* Only have offered coverage at a premium rate that is higher than the rate of health inclusive, in the

* Have existing non-group coverage, in effect, but at a rate above the rate of health premium inclusive, in the

* They have a condition diagnosed by a list of high-risk conditions (also known as the health of suspected

* Is the federal government for HIPAA-eligible individual, including those who currently have coverage through an insurer

* Are a resident eligible for coverage federal health tax credit under the Transition Assistance Act (International trade displaced workers and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation recipients)
