Hospital of Rio Grande do Norte was chosen last week to participate in a national program called Connected Care telehealth, rural location room to be selected to service

Telehealth team has the same videoconferencing equipment that astronauts used, including a digital Dermascope that allows a doctor to see and measure distance to the moon, a high definition camera for the throat and nose tests and a digital stethoscope, which allows a remote physician to hear the patient's heart beating.

According to a press release from United Health October 13, Colorado is among the top spots in the nation where United Healthcare will present connected Care. To select and implement the program sites, United Healthcare has partnered with the State of Colorado and Centura Health, with assistance from the Rural Health Center and the Colorado Community Health Network of Colorado.
