Referee dies after being beaten?
A referee died after being beaten in the head by a ball during a league match in Wales on Saturday. Alcwyn Jenkins, 72, was standing in the game between Swansea and Llangennech in Division One of the Antur Insurance South Wales Association on the pitch at St Helen's in Swansea. He was hit by a shot of one of the gardeners and was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards. The match was later abandoned. This is a sad incident
Upto the last minute, was on duty. Great death. He did not die of old age or illness. He died with honor do the job that he liked the best.
