Appeals of overpayment of unemployment insurance?
Hello! I use my OT overpayment on unemployment. I made a mistake and now I'm penalized 9 weeks without benefits. I have appealed and have the option of accepting a waiver form to collect benefits while waiting for my appeal, the thing is that leaving to receive benefits if I am found guilty, I have to pay back the benefits I have received, plus the overpayment, any body accepted the resignation and was found not guilty or guilty. Could really use some advice! Thank you!
You can appeal. If he loses, then want their money. If you do not pay the money, then when you file your tax return that will keep your tax refund check.
