liability insurance hit and run
I was involved in a leak and need help with what to do.?
I was hit from behind by someone while pulling a boat. The damage, both engines, took off, a witness followed and returned with the license plate number and left me their information. The police came and took the report. Basically I was told that there is nothing I can do because the person driving should I deny it, even with a witness that "in general, does not go very far." I went to the police station and the officer did not follow up on anything. Police did not give me the car owners information. The boat only has liability insurance and my home and car insurance not cover it. I just want the person responsible for paying for fixing engines and I can not understand why the police will track them all. Does anyone know what I do now?
The same thing happened to my husband. Individual hit my husband took off to the side of the road, slow and then rang off in traffic. witness called the plate type and my husband called 911 (B / C it is assumed that in an accident, whatever) for man was found his story went to a beach parking off the interstate and Mike is supposed to follow this type. There happens to be a loophole in the law that is allowed to shoot more in an "environment safe "and hid behind the law to stop being called a" Hit & Run "IMO was a Hit & Run …….. B / C if I were him called the police when he was supposedly "stopped in the parking "……… yes …….. After 2 weeks of "investigation" work, police said they could not charge him or ticket him for a hit and run. What do you then ……. this is what my husband did .. Call your company Insurance, I hope you have the uninsured motorist coverage and complete? Yes, police can not give the other party of the information you need to request a copy of the accident. (hopefully there is one) will cost $. The police suggested we go through our insurance company so it does not cost us $. I called my insurance company and pretended that I was going to complain ….. b / c I didn't know what else to say ….. when they heard the story of people got in trouble ….. .. police were only able to input the type that hit my husband with "driving with a suspended license" – b / c our insurance company has to police, had a suspended license, btw. So I suggest you call your insurance company and explain "I was beaten, the man removed but the witness had called on the loser board hit me, but police are not going to help "everyone saying that a lawyer do not know what they are talking. We contacted our attorney about hitting a "& Run" and said it's the police how, when, where and why ticket.
