American Income Life or independent agent?
I'm finding different answers regarding this company here. I met with them and was offered a job, looks good, almost too good. I'm a Little apprehension. My other option is to sign with a few insurance comapnies, and basically I realize every company in which the interview with the claims that are the best and I will get the maximum $ with them. Someone with experience at American Income Life, I would appreciate their opinion. Thanks:)
I really expected to see if there were complaints from employees in connection with this company and here's an example I found. American Income Life Posted: 2007-08-03 by Jessica [send email] Do not go with him through Complaint Rating: I too received an email from AIL claiming that I have not Monster.com and had just what they were looking and could potentially earn over $ 60K in my first year. Intrigued by the salary, I followed the example. Fortunately, I did more research background on AIL since their company website had very little information. I came across this website and find more than 50 statements. I was so surprised to read what others went because I heard through much of the dialogue exactly the same for human resources representative that I spoke. I found it odd that I said that I should "dress professionally" and that should bring "a crisp new resume." When I spoke with the human resources representative in the AIL, I asked what was the title of the work and he does not answer that question directly. All that beating around the bush saying they will train you to be a manager. Like others, I was told of a plan for 2 1 / 2 one-hour interview. They read off a script! After reading the messages, I decided that I would have nothing to do with a company like this and called to cancel my interview. When I called, I could not reach the head of Human Resources NI could leave a voice message. The receptionist took my message. I read in this same scenario with another woman ad. Fishy, eh? My advice to others: No Go for it. I'm so happy I never lived with the interview. There were more than 50 complaints (I did not go through them all.) Hope this helps.
