life insurance frauds

We all make mistakes in our business from time to time … we may miss a deadline, delete an important file or absence of a project … or whatever.
The question is how to handle when they happen. And just for the record, the life insurance agents are not supposed to lie!
Inevitably, to cover disaster instead of having up is usually much more expensive in the long run. Lies will follow like a shadow … Sooner or later you pay … and sometimes with an interest rate steep.
If you think I'm over reacting, ask Martha Stewart … She would have avoided a criminal conviction and financial disaster, if not for the lie. The judge ruled that the accusation of fraud was not a crime in which he could be convicted. The fraud charge was actually dismissed. The only charge that remained was the perjury.
There are many examples in history where the cost of the cover up was much greater than if the truth is confronted from the beginning to go:
* Nixon could have survived, possibly impeachment or avoid all together if he confessed immediately.
* The same goes for Clinton … the whole Monica scandal probably would not have been in the headlines a decade if it had not drawn out for so long.
* Newt Gingrich may have been our president if you were standing firm and told the truth. Who knows?
I know I've had my fair share of bad decisions, Bonehead moves and miscalculations in my life … And almost always ends cost me dearly.
In the life insurance business is vital to maintaining their integrity and be honest always, period. If you give your client a budget (for example), that you know is far from the base, just to get a commitment, more often it will bite more than you ever will know.
To that the confidence of its customers and the community, then you must be trustworthy. If you want to have credibility with their customers and community, must be credible.
It is not easy to regulate our own personal conduct … However, our reputation and credibility is far more valuable than any gain to be achieved by key people with lies. If you lose your confidence, you lose your business, family business and, potentially, the business of everyone they know.
