Where can you get free help with minor mental health or Ohio?
I need help desperately. I had an extremely traumatic event happen about 6 years ago in my life that led to counseling leading to a possible diagnosis of bi polar disorder. Ok, since then, I lost my insurance and not I am qualified for Medicaid. I was on 2 medications that helped me significantly and have been forced to resign because the medicines are too expensive and have not been able to remain in counseling either. I live in Ohio where there is no such thing as free help from medical or mental health and I have been off the meds for over a year and have had a serious setback and now I am suffering severe insomnia. Does anyone out there with an answer? I can not afford insurance and would not be able to make every kind of money in the medication or doctor visits and the mental health care is so scandalous … counseling is out of the question. Thanks
